Codeworks Connect is the trade association for digital businesses in the North East of England. Connect's 400 members benefit from a range of services that include first class networking events, business development and PR support and subsidised digital placement schemes.

GameHorizon is the business network for UK games industries having recently expanded its membership to a national audience. Its annual GameHorizon conference features creative, innovative and inspirational speakers from the worlds of gaming, entertainment and business.

Design It. Build It is the only two track conference of its kind for web designers and developers. The first DIBI conference took place in April 2010 and was a complete sell out. It brought speakers such as Tim Van Damme and Michael Brunton-Spall to The Sage Gateshead for the intense and inspiring one day conference.

Sunderland Software City was designed to inspire and encourage the growth of the software industry in the North East of England and to make the region an attractive location of choice for software businesses. Codeworks is one of four deliverers of SSC, alongside Sunderland University, The BIC and Sunderland City Council, and aims to support the development of the software community.

Codeworks Digital Evaluation Vehicle, or DEV, offers a unique software application prototyping service to North East innovators reducing barriers, time and risk. Codeworks launched DEV to provide a cost effective service to open up commercial opportunities and product development for North East digital innovators.
